Baby Kakes turns 5

Can it be, Can it be...5 already.

5 was a big birthday for Kate:

She started preschool

Got her hair cut...she's been begging 

to get "One of those Bobs"

Received the Barbie of her dreams

Moved to Utah

Five (and 2 more) things we love about Kate:

She is easy to laugh

Says most things with an exclamation

Loves to be hugged and kissed

Loves to be in charge

Dress up and sparkly nails are a must

Is very loud even when she whispers

Loves people, the older the better

She is often referred to as KATE THE GREAT and that she is.

So what are we doing in Utah?

Well here is the low down.  Dwane came across a detail opportunity to Utah.  When he asked me if he should apply, it was like someone had given him a free tropical vacation.  So I told him, he should totally apply, the worst thing that could happen was he wouldn't get the job.

Well as you might have guessed,  HE GOT IT.... so our little family, packed up at the end of November and took another cross country trip to the west and will be here for two years.

The mountains are amazing, the job is great, and the commute is only 1.8 miles from our house.  Which means we see a lot of Dwane, he even gets to come home for lunch.

We hope you will join us on our adventure here.  We made a long list of things we wanted to do and so our weekends are going to be full.

We miss our Virginia and N.C. family, but we will be back soon.
